Despite the fact that the main producers of planting material in Russia are domestic companies, more and more often you can see Dutch marrow seeds on the shelves. What is the advantage of buying such planting material and why did some summer residents focus their choice on Dutch hybrids?

Of the whole variety of Dutch zucchini hybrids, I would like to highlight those that have already managed to establish themselves among experienced farmers and gardeners as the best.
The leading variety that appeared in Russia several years ago, but has already received well-deserved recognition. It was first planted by Krasnodar farmers in the open field, and immediately pleased domestic farmers with an unprecedented harvest - 160 tons of tasty and high-quality fruits were harvested from one hectare.
This is an early ripe high-yielding variety belonging to the category of universal. The first fruits can be removed from the bush as early as the 40th day after the seed has hatched. The zucchini skin is dense, but very delicate, painted in light green color. The shape of the zucchini is even, cylindrical. During the growing season, up to 15 kg of fruits are removed from one bush, each of which does not exceed 25 cm in length. The weight of one zucchini can reach up to 0.5 kg.
Attention! The Iskander hybrid is capable of producing 2-3 crops per year and quickly recovering from damage to the stem and leaf, for example, during strong gusts of wind and during hail.
A distinctive feature of this famous Dutch hybrid is that it is fully adapted to anthracosis and powdery mildew diseases.
Zucchini variety from the Dutch producer Hem Zaden. The plant is early maturing. The fruiting period begins 35-40 days after the first shoots. Fruits are even cylindrical in shape. The length of the zucchini in the period of full ripening is up to 18 cm, weight is 150-220 gr. The hybrid is recommended for growing in open ground, film greenhouses and greenhouses.
Another early ripe zucchini variety from Hem Zaden. The growing season begins 40 days after the first shoots. The fruits are even, the skin is white. The pulp is medium-dense. A distinctive feature of Mostr is that the seed chamber is almost completely absent in zucchini. Up to 4-5 ovaries are formed in one node. The plant has a dense stem and a powerful root system, resistant to viral infections and powdery mildew disease. The hybrid is versatile, the fruits are ideal for both fresh culinary processing and canning.

Mary Gold has a fairly long growing season, and with regular watering and the necessary fertilizing with mineral fertilizers, it bears fruit in greenhouses until the first frost.
Distinctive properties of the plant are resistance to leaf spot bacteria and golden mosaic virus.
Another striking representative of the Dutch hybrids from the Hem Zaden company. Differs in excellent taste and resistance to long-term storage and long-distance transport. This is an early variety with a fairly long growing season. The first fruits can be cut from the bush as early as 35 days after germination.
The plant does not require any special care. With regular watering and good lighting, the hybrid can bear fruit until late autumn. The length of the zucchini in the period of full ripening reaches 20-22 cm, the mass can reach 350-400 grams.
This is an early bush hybrid with the beginning of fruiting on the 40th day after the seed has hatched. The zucchini are light green in color, the fruits are even, cylindrical in shape. Karisma is a resistant Dutch variety intended for cultivation in greenhouses and open ground. The distinctive characteristics of the variety include the compactness of the plant. So, on one square meter of open ground, you can plant 2-3 bushes of seedlings.
An early maturing Dutch hybrid with a long growing season. The ripening period of fruits begins 40-45 days after sowing. The fruits are smooth, cylindrical in shape with excellent taste characteristics. They tolerate long-term storage and transportation well.
Zucchini is resistant to temporary cold snaps in the air and on the ground. The hybrid is well adapted to the climate of central Russia and Siberia, has resistance to powdery mildew, harmful insects. Up to 4-5 zucchini are formed in one node. During the ripening period, the fruits reach 18-20 cm in size, the average weight of one zucchini is 250 grams.
Attention! When purchasing planting material of the Dutch selection, pay attention to where the goods are packaged. If the seeds are not contained in the original packaging of the manufacturer, carry out control disinfection in a weak solution of potassium permanganate.
